’em Hackers are doing a GOOD job.

Our nation have been put in shock when a group of hackers threat on the govt official websites on June 16. Funny thing is, even ’em hackers SPECIFICALLY pose the threat way earlier before the attack, theres nothing that we can do to defend ourself except put a dull face and take the beating..

but then again, this should be good as a reminder, telling how our nation’s web security, sorry to say, SUCKs. how could we entrusted our valuable information to a organization that can easily tampered with and manipulated? this is alarming indeed.

Well for me, i didnt see that hacking as a proxy of pure evil. There’s a good side too. DID YOU KNOW, an Ethical Hacker is a REAL job? Yes it is.

An Ethical Hacker is one name given to a Penetration Tester. An ethical hacker is usually employed by an organization who trusts him or her to attempt to penetrate networks and/or computer systems, using the same methods as a hacker, for the purpose of finding and fixing computer security vulnerabilities. Illegal hacking is a crime in most countries, but penetration testing done by request of the owner of the targeted system(s) or network(s) is not.

For us Malaysian, this should be a lesson learn for not to taken the internet security lightly. In this world where great power lies on mere series of 1’s and 0’s, where even money are all digital and can be easily wired VIRTUALLY any part of the world, yeah, we should REALLY worry for our security and safety.
